Do I need photos, or can I just describe the yard?
Photos make a real difference here. "Overgrown backyard" could be an hour's work or a full day — two or three photos showing the whole space let gardeners commit a locked price without a site visit, which means more offers, faster.
Is green waste removal included?
Not automatically — taking waste away costs tip fees and trailer time, so offers state whether it's included. If you want everything gone, say so in the description; if you have a green bin with room, mention that too. It changes the price honestly in your favour.
Can I set up regular mowing?
Yes. Describe it as a regular mow — how often, roughly how big the lawn is — and gardeners offer with a recurring visit in mind. Once you've found someone good, the schedule is yours and theirs to run in the job chat.
What about bigger landscaping — new garden beds, retaining, a redesign?
Post it. Bigger design-and-build work gets scoped as what it really is — HaT flags jobs that need a site assessment or multiple trades rather than pretending a garden makeover is a mowing job, so the offers you get match the actual work.
